Nemeh Sabbagh, CEO Arab Bank Group and Chairman EAB, receives Arab Bankers Association’s Annual Award for Distinguished Services to Arab Banking.
Nemeh Sabbagh, CEO Arab Bank Group and Chairman EAB, was recently awarded for "Distinguished Services to Arab Banking" by the Arab Bankers Association (ABA) in recognition of his outstanding efforts and contributions to the Arab banking industry for more than 40 years. The honouring ceremony took place at the ABA Annual Gala Dinner held on 18th October 2018 in London.
Mr Sabbagh is one of the most prominent Arab bankers. Earlier in his career, Mr. Sabbagh played a leading role in managing and expanding the international network of National Bank of Kuwait for nearly 20 years. Subsequently, Mr. Sabbagh led Arab National Bank in Saudi Arabia and BankMed in Lebanon. He is currently the CEO of Arab Bank since 2010 in addition to being the Chairman of Europe Arab Bank.

The ABA’s Annual Gala Dinner is the premier event for the UK’s Arab financial community and for those working alongside Arab financial institutions. The distinguished guests included leading regional and global economic figures and bankers.
