Meet the Team
Derrick Derv Kaye
Head of Financial Institutions
Derrick has over 25 years of international banking experience, most recently having lived and worked in several overseas locations in Europe and MENA. He has held senior executive positions with international institutions and in addition to his management and development of these businesses Derrick was also responsible for the establishment of new institutions in different countries. Derrick has extensive background in strategy, corporate and structured finance and holds a Diploma in Banking and Finance and an MBA..
Rasheed Hinnawi
Relationship Director
Rasheed joined the EAB Financial Institutions team in March 2007. He holds an MSc in International Banking and Finance from the University of Glasgow, UK and a Certified Lender Business Banking certificate. Prior to joining EAB, Rasheed worked in Jordan Kuwait Bank in Amman. He has over four years of experience in credit, retail banking and corporate banking.
Horst Schneeweiss
Relationship Director (Frankfurt)
Horst Schneeweiss started his career in foreign business in 1967 at BfG Bank (now SEB) and joined Arab Bank Group in 1976. He has held leading positions in the Foreign Department, Operations and as General Manager of UBAE Arab German Bank SA Luxembourg. He established the Foreign Department of Arab Bank AG Frankfurt, integrated the Guarantees and Correspondent Banking and was responsible for the implementation of IT solutions for trade finance products.
Lekbir Baz
Associate Relationship Director
Lekbir has 14 years experience in Trade Finance and Corporate Banking gained from working with institutions such as Attijariwafa Bank, Societe Generale CIB Paris and most recently Gulf International Bank UK dealing with Corporate and FI in North Africa. He was also responsible for maintaining relationships with multinationals that have presence in MENA. Lekbir holds a diploma in Finance and Accounting from University of Reims (France), and holds a degree in Financial Markets from Institute of Finance Markets Techniques (ITM) Paris. Lekbir holds as well a certificate in Risk Management in Banking and Finance from City University London in 2008.
Farnoosh Mohsenin
Corporate Relationship Assistant
Farnoosh Mohsenin joined the team in August 2009 from British Arab Commercial Bank where she worked for two years in Internal Audit and, as an FI Analyst, in Institutional Corporate Banking. Farnoosh holds a BSc in Business Studies from CASS Business School. During her time at university, she spent a year working with Lloyds TSB Group plc where she focused on project management in Group Operational Services.
