Meet the Team
Neil Harris
Head of Real Estate & Hotel Finance
Neil Harris joined EAB in September 2007; he has almost 25 years' experience managing client teams in a variety of industry sectors and markets. Previous employers include Credit Suisse, UBS and most recently WestLB, where he established a Structured Finance team in the Real Estate sector. Neil has a BSc. (Hons) in Banking and Finance and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He serves on the Corporate and Institutional Banking Committee of the Association of Foreign Banks.
Stephen Welch
Relationship Director
Stephen joined EAB in October 2007 from Bank of Scotland Corporate where he was a Director, Specialist Property Finance. Stephen has spent 24 years in banking, mainly in relationship management and new business origination, across a variety of UK and international banks. He has focused on real estate finance, including lending to the hospitality sector, for more than a decade. During that time he has arranged and managed syndicated and bilateral facilities for a wide range of investors, developers, hoteliers and other borrowers. Stephen is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a member of the Association of Property Bankers and a graduate of Manchester University.
David Brew-Riverson
Associate Director
David joined Europe Arab Bank, London in May 2008, as a CRA for Manufacturing and Engineering, Cross Border Mortgages and Public & Third Sector. He has over 5 years experience in corporate banking having previously held a relationship management role in SSB Bank Ghana (now Socgen SSB). David has an Agricultural Economics degree from the University of Ghana and a Masters Degree in Food production Management from the University of Nottingham where he is an alumni of the Foreign Commonwealths Chevening Scholarship. David holds a Certificate in Business Accounting and passed the first level of the Chartered Financial Analyst programme. He was a Relationship Manager for Real Estate at HBOS prior to joining EAB.
